Bad Boy Power Drink is pleased to present its latest member: Scott “Bad Boy” Jennings. 

Scott Jennings is a veteran of the V8 Utes Series and a crowd favorite. He took a year off from racing only to return with a new truck and a new car.

In Round one at Clipsal, Jennings managed to stay clear of the biggest crash in V8 Ute history when no less than five were caught up in a car destroying affair in turn one of the Adelaide street circuit just one lap into the final race.

It was an eventful but successful weekend for the Bad Boy Power Drink Team as Scott Jennings made his return to the V8 Series after a year away from the sport.

“We are certainly in the mix”, concedes Jennings, “everyone knew we were out there.”

“We had the car on display several times throughout the weekend and the response to it was really exciting. The car has a really mean look and I think a lot of people like that,” smiles Jennings.

TOP TEN FOR BAD BOY AT ROUND 2

Scott Jennings celebrated his birthday at Eastern Creek with a consistently top ten result all weekend in Round Two of the Yokohama Australian V8 Ute Series, bringing the Bad Boy Power Drinks Holden home in 6th overall in front of delighted friends, families and sponsors.

“It’s a very satisfying result considering that we were using the old girl,” Jennings said, referring to his racecar, “but she served us in style and we ran with the lead pack all weekend. I’m really pleased.”

Pleased he should be too, enjoying a very competitive weekend and introducing new sponsors Bad Boy Power Drinks to the hurly burley of V8 Ute Racing in the process.

It was the final appearance of the ‘old’ car too, with the new VE headed for James Brock’s workshop in Melbourne before being readied for competition in the May round at Barbagallo Raceway in Perth.

“It feels so good to do well with the older car,” Scott beamed, “I just can’t wait to get the new one and we can have a serious crack at Barbagallo!”
